We always buy the same ice cream in our house because we love it. So I was excited to try Breyers new Smooth and Dreamy line. 1 package Linguine Noodles, Cooked, Rinsed, And Cooled
½ heads Sliced Napa Cabbage, Or More To Taste
½ heads Sliced Purple Cabbage, Or More To Taste
½ bags Baby Spinach, Or More To Taste
1 whole Red Bell Pepper, Sliced Thin
1 whole Yellow Bell Pepper, Sliced Thin
1 whole Orange Bell Pepper, Thinly Sliced
Chopped Cilantro - 1 Bunch, To Taste
3 whole Scallions, Sliced
3 whole Cucumbers Peeled And Sliced
1 can (about 10 Oz.) Whole Cashews, Lightly Toasted In Skillet
1 whole Lime, Juiced
8 Tablespoons Olive Oil
8 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons (up To 3 Tablespoons) Sesame Oil
⅓ cups Brown Sugar
3 Tablespoons Fresh Ginger Chopped
2 cloves Garlic Chopped
2 whole Hot Peppers Or Jalapeno's, Chopped ( I omitted these, call me whimpy)
Chopped Cilantro
Preparation Instructions:
Mix salad ingredients together. Whisk dressing ingredients together and pour over salad. Mix with tongs or hands and serve on a platter.
Note: dressing keeps for up to three days before serving, without cilantro.

SUGAR -n- Spice Popcorn recipe
Sugar -n- Spice Popcorn
Sugar-n-Spice Popcorn
4 quarts air-popped popcorn
3 Tbls. butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbls. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Place popcorn in large bowl. Melt butter over low heat. Add sugar, water, cinnamon and salt. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour over popcorn. Toss to coat. Spray non-stick cooking spray onto 12x18 baking sheet. Place popcorn on sheet and bake at 300 degress F. for 12-15 minutes. Serve immediately.

Recently, we were able to participate in a wonderful campaign for Collective Bias sponsored by Elmers! We went on a shopping trip at Walmart to purchase new school supplies for two kids who can't afford them this year. We had a wonderful time picking them out and enjoy shopping for someone else.
Our kids also worked on original works of art to put in each tote bag wishing each child a happy school year! I love the fact that we added that personal touch!

Jensen Project airs July 19th!! (CONTEST)
On Friday night, NBC will air the last Family movie called "THE JENSEN PROJECT."
I hope you will join your family and have a movie night in your own home. The made-for-TV movie is action-packed and has a story line that the whole family will love.
Walmarts nationwide will be offering CD/DVD combo packs for sale nationwide.
The soundtrack for the "Jensen Project" was produced by Randy Jackson, and features performances by Brooke White and Jordin Sparks, as well as other up coming artist.
Our family is planning on staying in to enjoy time together and we hope yours will also. We plan on buying a bunch of fun junk foods to pig out on and we are going to make it look like a camp scene in our living room for fun.
