BE SNEAKY!
We are excited to tell you about a new contest on Twitter Moms here. Twitter Moms and Horizon Little Blends want to know how moms sneak fruits and veggies into their toddler's diet.
This means that I not only have to sneak yummy fruits and vegetables into our kids' diets but also into my diet. To successfully keep everyone on board with eating healthy, I have to be creative. Here are my tips!
- Shred zuchinni and put them in bread and potatoes.
- I puree veggies and put them into all of the foods I bake.
- Cover veggies with cheese
- Add powdered nutrients in smoothies.
- Let the kids pick the fruits and vegetables that they want.
- Let them help cook. It makes them feel good.
- Put blueberries, Strawberries or bananas in your pancakes or waffles.
