Shanda Bauman is a former model, make-up artist and sales rep. She has more than a decade of marketing, sales and social media networking under her belt. Within 8 months of its launch. www.TheParentswithStyle.com, had a Google rating of three, 999 subscribers and 1513 twitter followers.

Because of her influence in the blogging world- Shanda has worked with big brands including Nintendo, Chicco, EA Sports, Frito-Lay, Hp, Frigidaire, Lexus and Fisher Price.

A graduate of the Indiana State University Shanda started her career at Ryerson.

Shanda resides in the Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband and three Children.

Other credits due:
1. Public relations-After giving birth to three children, I still maintain my relationships even if I couldn't get up and make a cup of coffee for all of the visitors. My relationships still remain.
2. Engineering-I can now unwrap kids toys in 35 mins instead of the hour it took me before. Fricken twist ties.
3. Culinary Arts-I've got skills when it comes to making Hot dog men and food animals.
4. Biology with a Minor in Women's Studies- My parenting skills have been honed in when it comes to my children's screams or tears. When I can leap out bed to calm my baby and catch a whiff of a smelly diaper all in one sniff.
5. Automotive Technology- Installing a car seat
6. Speech Pathology- Deschipering toddler language requires a knack for vernacular, an ear for dropped consonants, and a mother's intuition, which is why I'm the only one who can understand when my son says, "hubball": Football.
7. Alternative Medicine: Smart Moms know that plain band-aids are not as fun as character band-aids and they do the trick well. I also know that when I tell my daughter she needs sleeping lotion..that is all it takes to get her to go to sleep. (apply a scented lotion and she thinks it puts her to sleep) Bad dreams?? tell your child to flip the pillow..it works.
8. Digital art- thousands of photos on 20 different photo sharing sites and I haven't lost one picture yet.
9. Management- Family schedules...do I need to say more??
10. Philosophy- Debating the age old question, "Why are we here?" is nothing compared to tackling the questions such as "Why can't I have ice cream for breakfast?"
